Train Departure Schedules & Stations
This website is designed for anyone who wants to quickly check departure times and destinations for trains leaving from nearby stations. It is also for travelers arriving at a station who want to know what to expect—ranging from station facilities (such as "Can I get something to eat here?" or "Is there a public restroom?") to details about the immediate surrounding area.
Growing Lists of Stations and Departure Times
Our list of stations—all thoroughly researched and mostly visited in person, often featuring videos and photo galleries—is constantly expanding. We have compiled a wealth of information; for major stations in Germany, Austria, and Hungary, we provide key details alongside real-time train departure schedules.
We don't just describe the featured stations based on public sources; we share our own firsthand experiences from visiting them in person. Of course, information can sometimes become outdated, so we welcome input from our website visitors.

The schedules displayed on our portal update automatically whenever the page is loaded. We do not include a time delay, so the information reflects trains departing immediately—which is crucial if you aren't at the station yet. We present the schedules this way because we don't know your exact current location (unless you use the location-based search feature).
Most Popular Station Pages with Departure Schedules
We started with stations in Austria and have since expanded the site to include Germany and Hungary. The following list is therefore logically consistent, as our pages covering Austrian railway stations are currently the most popular. Here are the top 10 most searched-for stations on our site—specifically those with departure and arrival boards:
Videos and photo albums of stations
Whenever the opportunity arises, we like to take out our cameras at the station to document what it looks like—capturing details such as the building's appearance, whether the platforms are covered, and so on. While we haven't managed to do this for every single station, we have frequently compiled such images for this site, which focuses on train departure schedules for stations in our region. They are intended to give visitors an impression of the actual site conditions.

High demand for train departure schedules
The idea behind this website was simply to make train departure schedules quickly accessible without needing an app. Consequently, the majority of our visitors access the site via mobile devices, with most using smartphones. The significant interest—with well over 10,000 people visiting the site each month—has motivated us to invest even more effort into our train departure schedule overviews and station profiles.
It came as a genuine surprise after a while to see that the site was being used by a good 10,000 people every month. The fact that we are further intensifying our work in this area and expanding our offerings is also a matter of respect for our website visitors—thank you very much!
A hobby project at the echonet agency (Vienna, Austria)
This site is part of a network of experimental websites that we continuously revamp—typically during evenings and weekends. We experiment with page speed, keyword density, search engine optimization, responsive web design, and, of course, various content management systems. It also allows us to create opportunities for our clients to open up additional communication channels. That said, we would love to hear your feedback, suggestions, or constructive criticism regarding the site. Please bear in mind, however, that this is a hobby project; we only work on it when time permits and when there are no urgent client needs requiring our attention. (And sometimes, we work on it simply for a much-needed change of pace...)
